Pupil Council
Pupil Council are a group of elected pupils from Year 4-7, who have been chosen to represent the views and opinions of the pupils in their class. Pupil council representatives come together to discuss ways in which the school can improve, taking into consideration the pupil voice. Pupil Council members also link with the younger classes in our school, bringing on board their ideas and thoughts.
They are given the opportunity to talk with the people who can help make changes happen and decide on the most effective ways to implement these changes. Pupil Council members hold Class Councils, where they can share news and information, discuss new initiatives and feed back to the class on what has been achieved. Our Pupil Council representatives also aim to participate in fundraising events.
The Pupil Council group last year were involved in fundraising for Sports Relief and IEF funding, through their ‘Sports Kits to School’ initiative. A very successful event. We hope that this year’s Pupil Council group really enjoy being their class representatives, bringing the Pupil Voice together, so we can share interests and ideas from all the children in our school!
